Tryout Information
Tryout Location: Webster High School Gym
7564 Alder Street West Webster, WI 54893
Teams are set by AGE not by SCHOOL GRADE. The JVA follows the basic Age Definitions set by USA Volleyball for the 2026-27 season. The date cutoff is July 1, and age definitions can be viewed below. For instance, an athlete with a August 2012 birth date and is a freshman in high school qualifies to play on a 14s team. Likewise, as an example, an athlete with a May 2012 birthdate and in 8th grade cannot play on a 14s team. As a rule, an athlete can always “play up” in age level but not below.
18 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
17 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
16 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
15 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
14 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
13 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013
12 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2014
11 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2015
10 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2016
